Transportation Reform is a volunteer organization founded by experts in transportation project delivery, focused on reforming how transportation infrastructure is planned and built based on global best practices. Our current processes waste time, money, and opportunity due to poor governance structures, unnecessary bureaucracy, and undue influence from special interests. No region has so committed itself to building transit in the United States, yet there is far too little show for these efforts.
We have the power to do better. We can adopt the reforms necessary to ensure projects are delivered faster, better, and cheaper. Our region is defined by excellence, innovation, and pragmatism - it's time we apply those same skills to how we build and operate our transportation system. If we are to live in accordance with our values and secure economic opportunity, social equity, and a clean environment for all, we must take action. If we do, we can achieve excellence not just by American, but by global standards.
